Empowering Youth to Step Forward with Confidence and Creativity

The “Step Forward!” was a transformative Erasmus+ youth exchange that took place from January 15 to 21, 2025, in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Bringing together young participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and North Macedonia, the project focused on developing essential life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and effective communication. Through a series of non-formal education activities, including interactive workshops and team-building exercises, participants engaged in self-discovery and mutual learning. The initial team-building activities were instrumental in breaking the ice, fostering trust, and creating a cohesive group dynamic that set the tone for the rest of the exchange.
A significant aspect of the project was its emphasis on career development through the integration of Artificial Intelligence tools. Participants explored innovative ways to enhance their CVs and resumes by utilizing platforms like Google Gemini, LinkedIn, Canva, and other digital resources. These sessions provided hands-on experience in leveraging technology to effectively present personal skills and experiences, preparing the youth for the modern job market. The combination of soft skill enhancement and practical digital tool application empowered participants to approach their future careers with confidence and creativity.

• Fostered intercultural understanding and friendships among participants from four different countries

Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, “Step Forward!” provided a comprehensive platform for young people to grow personally and professionally. By blending non-formal education methods with technological innovation, the project equipped participants with the tools and mindset necessary to navigate their future paths with assurance and adaptability.
